What’s the weather like in Argentario during the Classic Week?
The Argentario Classic Week takes place in late June – one of the finest times of year to sail the Tuscan coast. Monte Argentario enjoys early-summer conditions: warm, sunlit days around 26–30 °C (79–86 °F) and mild evenings of 18–22 °C (64–72 °F). With around nine to ten hours of sunshine each day, skies are clear and the light softens beautifully over the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Winds are typically light to moderate, between 7 and 13 knots (13–24 km/h / 8–15 mph), often shifting gently through the afternoon. Occasionally, a touch of Mistral reaches this part of the coast, bringing a fresher breeze and perfect conditions for spirited racing. Rain is rare, and sea conditions remain generally calm to moderate.
Sea temperatures hover around 22–23 °C (72–73 °F), making a swim after sailing an easy pleasure.
What should I pack?
Light, breathable clothing is best during the day, along with good sun protection and a cap or hat. Evenings can feel pleasantly cooler, so a light jumper or jacket is useful. On board, wear non-slip shoes with light soles.
In short:
Warm light, steady winds, and clear horizons — June in Argentario offers the perfect blend of comfort and challenge, with just enough breeze to keep every sailor smiling.
Can a Regatta Be Sustainable?
We believe it can. For us, sustainability isn’t a slogan – it’s a conscious choice that shapes everything we do, on board and beyond. When you join one of our classic regattas, you’re not just stepping onto a beautiful yacht. You become part of a carefully curated event: powered by the wind, in harmony with nature, and guided by a deep respect for craftsmanship, tradition, and the environment.
Our yachts are not disposable products – they’re living history. Many of them have been sailing for generations. Their survival depends on skilled restoration, continuous maintenance, and thoughtful use. They stand for something rare today: longevity, not fast consumption.
Our commitment to sustainability extends to every part of the regatta experience:
- Our shuttle service is provided with electric vehicles, keeping emissions as low as possible.
- Our catering comes from trusted local producers who can clearly trace the origin of their ingredients and contribute to the local economy.
- We avoid single-use plastics and use reusable, sustainable tableware for all food service.
- Our crew wear is supplied by PAYPER, an Italian brand known for ethical production and quality. Their clothing is made from 100% premium cotton – designed to last long after the event. Learn more here.
Our regattas are not mass events – they are designed with intention. Small groups. Personal connections. A meaningful atmosphere that honours nature, tradition, and the human touch.
We know that not everything is perfect yet – but every conscious step matters.
They may be small steps – but they are intentional. They mark the beginning of a journey where sustainability and quality go hand in hand. Because true experiences do not begin with sacrifice – they begin with a choice to enjoy more mindfully.

ORIANDA
The 1937 sailing yacht Oriana stands as a remarkable symbol of nautical history, a vessel that has weathered the passage of time with elegance and resilience. With her classic lines and timeless design, Oriana is not just a yacht but a floating work of art. Once clear of the harbour, we join the fleet on open water. The conditions off Argentario are near perfect — a steady breeze, a clean swell, and just enough tension in the air to sharpen every move. The start is brisk but composed, each yacht finding her pace as the race settles in.
Prize Giving Ceremony: Honouring Champions
After the final race, the crews gather once more for the prize-giving — a moment of quiet respect between sailors and the sea that has tested them.
